Login Screen

 Purpose

The Login screen allows a user to access the registry application. Described below is the required information for access. Also provided is information about the help desk, which is available to assist you if you need help or if you have a question.

 Help Desk

The VIIS Help Desk is available to answer calls regarding system trouble, general inquiries, or to schedule training. If you need to contact the help desk please call 866.375.9795 for assistance. During the pilot, Help desk hours are Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Alternatively you can also email the help desk, although response time may not be as good as calling. The VIIS Help email address is: VIIS_Helpdesk@vdh.virginia.gov.

 

 Information Required

  1. Organization Code - Enter the Organization Code for the hospital, clinic or public health office to which you belong.

  1. Username - Enter the username assigned by your Administrator.

  1. Password - Enter the password assigned by your Administrator.

When the Login button is clicked, the registry will validate the login information received from the above three information fields. Upon successful validation, the user will gain access to the registry, and the main application screen will be displayed. If the registry detects a discrepancy with any of the information provided, access will be denied and the following message will be displayed: " The Organization Name, Username, and Password combination entered is invalid! ". If this occurs, other attempts to login can be made by carefully re-entering the required information, paying special attention to spelling and capitalization, and then clicking the Login button. If, after several failed attempts, the registry cannot be accessed, contact your Administrator or the registry help desk.

When the Reset button is clicked, the registry will erase anything that was typed into any of the three information fields, thus leaving them blank.
