Event Listing Screen |
Purpose |
The Event Listing screen displays a listing events in the system. The user may filter the listing to show only active or inactive events or both. The user may also filter the event listing based on event type.
You may also choose to add an event or edit an event from this screen. Please see the Add Event and Edit Event on-line help pages respectively.
Viewing the Event Listing |
To view the event listing, follow these steps:
Click on the 'manage events' hyperlink from the Menu Panel on the left side of the Main screen. The Event Listing screen displays. Initially, the system displays all active events, regardless of event type.
To filter the listing based on active indicator, choose the radio button at the top of the screen to show Active, Inactive, or Both kinds of events. The system refreshes the listing based on your choice.
To filter the listing based on event type, select the Biological, Chemical, Radiological, or Trauma event type from the pick list at the top of the screen. The system refreshes the listing according to your choice.
If the event listing is long, you may choose a letter in the index and the screen will scroll to the first event starting with that letter.

The following table shows the output fields for each event in the event listing:
Field Name |
Description |
Event Name |
The descriptive name given to the event. |
Event Type |
A category for the kind of event this is. The four event types are Biological, Chemical, Radiological, and Trauma. |
City |
The city of the first event location. |
Event Date |
The date on which the event occurred. |
Active Indicator |
Y indicates the event is active. N indicates the event is inactive. |
Functionality |
The Event Listing screen does not have any buttons. However, you can add or edit an event from this screen by clicking the Add Event hyperlink or the Event Name hyperlink respectively. Please see the Add Event and Edit Event on-line help pages for details.
