View Client Prophylaxis Screen |
Purpose |
The View Client Prophylaxis screen displays a client's history of prophylaxis administered. From this screen, you are also able to access the Add Client Prophylaxis, Edit Client Prophylaxis, Update Existing Client, and Client Reports screens.
Information Provided |
The View Client Prophylaxis screen displays a very large portion of the information held in the application database for the selected client. It is possible, and can be useful, to print this screen.
Client Information
The View Client Prophylaxis screen displays a client information header titled Client Information at the top of the page. This header includes client demographics, a scrolling list of client symptoms and reactions, as well as other client information.
The information contained in the header can also be used to confirm that you have located the correct client if you were brought to the View Client Prophylaxis screen directly following a client search from the manage client/prophylaxis menu.
Prophylaxis History
The Prophylaxis History table lists all prophylaxis the selected client has received to date. Prophylaxis listed in the table are ordered alphabetically first, then by 'Date Administered'. The table columns are defined as follows:

Product Description |
This column lists the product description for each prophylaxis administered. |
Date Administered |
This column gives the actual day the client was given the prophylaxis. |
Event |
This column denotes the event that the selected prophylaxis is a associated with. |
Qty |
This column displays the number of prophylaxis administered at one time. There can be a maximum number of six prophylaxis with the same product description and lot administered at one time. |
React? |
This column reports any reactions the client had after receiving a vaccine. A 'Yes' in this column indicates there was a reaction. To view the reaction, click the "Yes" hyperlink and a small information window will open, displaying the explanation of the selected reaction. |
Edit

This column contains icons which, when clicked on, will allow you to edit the recorded prophylaxis using the Edit Prophylaxis screen. |

Functionality |
For the most part, the View Client Prophylaxis screen is for display purposes only. The functionality it does contain deals with linking to other pieces of the registry system.

When the Add Prophylaxis button is clicked, the Add Client Prophylaxis screen is displayed, allowing you to select which vaccines you are adding into the system for the client. |

When the Edit Client button is clicked, the Edit Client screen is displayed containing the selected clients information so that updates can be made. |

When the Reports button is clicked, the Client Reports screen is displayed so that you may generate and/or print reports for the selected client. |

When the Print button is clicked, the user will be taken to a screen where only the clients history and demographics are displayed. The menu on the left and top will not appear, and this is ideal for printing purposes. Follow these steps to print: Simply click the Print button, and the client's prophylaxis history information will display in a new window, including both symptoms and reactions. Click on the printer icon in your browser or File>Print>All to print the page. Hit the Back button in your browser to return to the clients record. |

When the Edit Prophylaxis icon is clicked inside the 'View Client Prophylaxis' screen, the Edit Client Prophylaxis screen is displayed containing information on the selected prophylaxis so that updates can be made. |

Prophylaxis History Table Note
Any prophylaxis record (row) that appears in the Prophylaxis History table in all Red font indicates the client had a reaction to the corresponding prophylaxis.
